Our experience at Mayfield Nature Kindergarten has been nothing short of incredible.

From the moment you arrive, there’s something so special about the setting. The natural environment is calm, inviting and encourages children to explore, imagine and learn in a way that just feels right. It’s a place where kids are encouraged to get muddy, climb trees, ask questions and be curious, and I truly believe that has had such a positive impact on Theo.

The educators are exceptional. Every single one of them genuinely cares about the children as individuals. They take the time to get to know each child’s personality, strengths and needs, creating an environment where they feel safe, valued and confident to be themselves. The communication with families has always been wonderful, and we’ve always felt like we’re part of Theo’s learning journey.

The growth we’ve seen in Theo over his time at Mayfield has been remarkable. His confidence has soared, his independence has grown, and his curiosity about the world around him has absolutely flourished. He’s developed beautiful friendships, a real love of learning and has gained so many life skills that will stay with him well beyond kindy.

As parents, there is no greater feeling than dropping your child off knowing they’re not only being cared for, but genuinely loved, encouraged and celebrated for exactly who they are. We couldn’t have asked for a better start to Theo’s education, and we’ll always be so grateful for the role Mayfield Nature Kindergarten has played in helping shape the wonderful little person he’s becoming.
